"The City Is Me" book was published in 2021 and won several awards in the same year

The Ukrainian Children's Book Space BaraBooka has published the results of the "BaraBooka Top" - the annual list of the best family books of 2021. The winners were picked from a short list of 30 best non-translated stories for kids and teens.

The list includes Ukrainian authors only. The winner in the nomination "Prose Debut of the Year" was "The City Is Me" by Iryna Ozymok (illustrated by Anna Ivanenko, seri/graph studio; Knigolove Publishing House).

In the same year, the book got in the PEN list of the best Ukrainian books 2021.

In January 2022, the Bologna Children's Book Fair announced the prize list of the 56th Bologna Illustrators Exhibition, including Anna Ivanenko with her illustrations for the book "The City Is Me". Along with her 3873 artists from 92 countries applied to compete at that event.
